Fundraising and Communication

Overall responsibilities: The intern will work closely with KKO’s senior management to enhance the organization’s communication capacity, with the goal of increasing visibility and attracting new donors. The role includes working with key staff to create innovative communication tools for social media and digital outreach, highlighting KKO’s impact and giving a voice to its beneficiaries. The intern will also contribute to drafting a comprehensive communication strategy, including toolkits, internal guidelines for staff, and recommendations for future development areas.

Kumnit Kumar is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions:

  1. Project Manager:

    KKO is seeking a Project Manager for its new initiative, the “Healthy Futures for Students” (HFS) project in Mondulkiri. Building on years of engagement in Oreang District, Mondulkiri Province this project aims to improve health, hygiene, and sanitation in a cluster of target schools. The initiative focuses on empowering key stakeholders to develop and implement their own action plans for creating healthier and more hygienic school environments.

    Overall responsibilities: Responsible for the overall project management including activities implementation, coordination with stakeholders, M&E and reporting

    KEY DUTIES

    • Prepare activity planning and leads monthly planning meeting with staff

    • Responsible of the overall M&E system implementation; reports field activities to the executive team meeting and consolidate technical quarterly reports and update project workbook

    • Communicate with the donor regarding project progress, challenges and success

    • Inputs and reviews project financing with Finance manager

    • Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders/partners

    • Manages directly project staff in Mondulkiri office

    • Checks and approve all cash advances, disbursements and schedules for project staff

    • Coordinates and prepares the design of new projects and proposals in close collaboration with project managers and with the support of ED and advisor

    • Participate in fundraising operations and proposals development with ED and KKO board

    • Perform other tasks as requested by the Executive Director, and KKO Advisor

    Requirements for the position:

    · Honest, high commitment,

    • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Education, business management, or related field;

    • Minimum five years of working experience in management;

    • Experience in project management, project proposal writing and reporting

    • Experienced in developing capacity-building programs

    • Experienced in conducting project monitoring and evaluation

    • Ability to work under pressure, both independently as well as part of the team;

    • Ability to develop training manuals/ relevant tools for project needs

    • Good knowledge of written and spoken English;

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills;

    • Knowledge of HR, Administration, Finance, Procurement and Budgeting

    • Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Database

    Salary gross from 900 USD to 1000 USD dollars depending on candidate qualifications and experiences plus other benefit based on KKO’s policy.

  2. Project assistant-administrator

    KKO is seeking a Project assistant-administrator for its office in Mondulkiri.

    Overall responsibilities: Support field project staff with all administrative work and liaise with administration in Phnom Penh. Support with M&E data entry and other related tasks.

    KEY DUTIES

    • Review and prepare financial documents, including vouchers and supporting documents, in accordance with KKO policies and donor requirements.

    • Coordinate financial matters with Phnom Penh HQ, including fund transfers and financial reporting.

    • Manage cash advances and reconcile expenses with project staff.

    • Collaborate with the Logistics Officer to process procurement for project materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with financial procedures (quotations, bidding, etc.).

    • Ensure the correct administration of staff benefits, allowances, and per diems (e.g., phone cards, internet, mission allowances).

    • Draft official letters for communication with relevant departments and partners.

    • Maintain proper filing and organization of office documents.

    • Support project staff with M&E data entry.

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and KKO Advisor.

    Requirements for the position:
